Development Overview

This ambitious project entails a substantial rear extension to a property situated in the highly desirable Caldy area of Wirral. Our client acquired this residence, which is in close proximity to the picturesque Caldy beach; however, upon inspection, it was evident that the property required significant modernisation both internally and externally (please refer to the accompanying photograph).

The house is positioned within a predominantly residential neighbourhood, characterised by neighbouring properties that exhibit a diverse range of ages and architectural styles. Notably, there are numerous precedents within the locality for extensions to large existing homes, as well as for the rejuvenation of outdated 1970s houses.

We recognised our client’s aspiration to modernize the property through the incorporation of distinctive Zinc cladding. Our team successfully assisted them in securing planning consent for a wrap-around extension, which features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that overlooks the south-facing garden. Additionally, the project includes a side garage, storage rooms, and a comprehensive reconfiguration of the internal layout to fully optimize the property’s potential.

The use of high-quality materials, combined with exceptional craftsmanship, has culminated in a remarkable finished product. Our client is exceedingly satisfied with the transformation of their home into a stylish and functional living space.
